Dr. Zach Halcumb graduated from Mt. View High School and pursued a wrestling scholarship at Jamestown College, now known as the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. He also walked onto the men's soccer team and met his wife Maria. After studying biology, he attended the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Following graduate school, he worked at a busy downtown clinic for over 5 years. He then went on to work in a busy wellness clinic in Puyallup, WA a couple days per week, and taking care of his 4.5 year old daughter and 1 year old son. In 2023 Dr. Halcumb was the light feather, brown belt IBJJF Master World Champion, and was promoted to black belt on the podium. He now coaches at The Base Vancouver and The Base Woodland.
Dr. Halcumb is very passionate about wellness, posture, and preventative care, and gives patients the tools they need to help themselves. Patient care is tailored to the individual and attention to detail is paramount. Using spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapies, stretching, patient education and posture tools; we help to give patients the tools they need to live happier and healthier lives.
